Since most of the news consists of players that are on my midfield and forward transfer special, think of this as a little preview........

New developments in the Gilberto Silva department today. According to British paper The Daily Mail, the Brazilian center midfielder is fancying the idea of transfering to Juventus this summer. It is reported that Juve management is ready to match Arsenal's £40,000 a week salary but with an extension of 2 years to his current 2 year deal. Not sure what the asking price will be, but from the looks of it there may be some serious shopping in North London come summer time. This is a deal we NEED to get done, I cannot stress enough a midfield of Gilberto and Torsten Frings would be INSANE. To go from Giannichedda and Zanetti this year, to the Brazilian and German would be a world of trouble for Serie A opponents next season. Emerson needs to get on the phone and call his countryman to give him the good word about playing in Italy and for Juventus.

Now in another rumor involving Arsenal, Dutch starlet Ryan Babel has a buyout clause in his contract and Arsene Wenger is very intrigued. Babel always high on my transfer list, even higher then teammate Klaas Jan Huntelaar is one of the most promising youngsters in Europe. With the seemingly guaranteed departure of Valeri Bojinov, Babel would be an ideal addition to the squad, offering a promising partnership with Raffaele Palladino once the veterans have moved on. Now if Juve were to get involved in offers, im not exactly sure, but Ajax and Arsenal are two teams we definitely will be looking to snag players from this summer. The Babel clause was not even the best part of the article, the most intriguing part is "Wenger may be ready to listen to offers for both Mathieu Flamini and Philippe Senderos" , now I've shown my interest in Flamini already, but I never thought Senderos would be available. If he realy is going to be shopped around, we need to jump on that quickly, a big physical defender, Senderos would be a perfect fit with Juventus. I would love a raid on Arsenal this summer, Gilberto, Senderos, Flamini but how often does that happen though? so to be realistic, I'd expect us to land one of the midfielders, and HOPEFULLY stress on the HOPE, we land 2 out of the 3.

Another player always on my radar for years is playmaker Andres D'Alessandro. The Argentinian on loan at Real Zaragoza from Wolfsburg has had an impressive year helping the Spaniards stay high in the standings. D'Alessandro wants to make the move permanent deal with the Spanish side, and from the looks of it Zaragoza is going to get a MAJOR bargain. For years I always scratched my head wondering why we never offered Wolfsburg lots of money for the star before he moved to a different league, well now it may be to late. It seems D'Alessandro is loving Spain, my only hope is that they do not qualify for the Champions League which would possibly open up a Juve opportunity.

Now this one truly made me nauseous........Nicolas Anelka to Juventus..........I cant stand the guy, I wont get into it to much but I dont want him anywhere near this team. Trez stays, Anelka NO

Another frenchman making news again Ludovic Giuly, the versatile Barca star has been linked with Juve and Deschamps has shown his fondness of his countryman. Not sure if this one will happen, but I would not be opposed.

For the Curveball of the month award........ Crespo to Juventus..... Crazyness, I've always liked Crespo but I dont see this happening.
