In this series we are going to decorate a space in a specific style typical for a music movement. Grunge is from the 90's. Typical Grunge bands Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Alice in Chains. Design a bedroom in a Grunge theme.

Eclectic Wardrobe Design

More and more you see bedroom wardrobes designed as just one dull wall of panels behind which all clothes are hidden from view. Let's try a different approach, in which you combine several smaller storage elements in various styles. And put (some of) your clothing into view. For instance by using glass doors or with shelves or a clothing rack / tree. Let's see what a bit of variation can do to the style of your bedroom.

Car Park Play Ground

Cities in many places have a high pressure on outdoor space. It's a worldwide challenge to make optimal use of this space. It's better to bring it to good use. Parking lots are a great example in where we can do better. Design a parking lot that is good for 1) biodiversity 2) urban climate (shade and drainage) 3) kid's and adults play 4) physical excersise 4) meeting people 5) car parking (less) & bicycle parking (more).

Summer house

Design a stand-alone summer house interior. Also give it a nice exterior view so it really looks as if it's located in your garden or natural outdoor environment.

Carport Design

Carports are mostly kind of functional and... boring to be honest. Still, this is part of the entrance to a home, and provide a great opportunity to show off some of your own style. Apart from parking the car, maybe this can serve as something else. Think of all the moments that the car is gone. You (or your kids) might use that space for something?! Design an original carport.

Easter Entrance

Decorate a hallway / entrance to a home in a special Easter setting.

Fictional Character Bedroom

Picture one of your favourite book characters. For instance Mathilda from Roald Dahl, or Pippi Lngstocking. Now picture their bedroom. Try to design this bedroom as if it's where they would sleep. Name your room like the character like "Mathilda's room" NB: we don't mean a room insprired on / depicting the character on the wall, but really the rooms as you would picture it from the description in the book, or (if it's not described) as you would picture the character would decorate his/her bedroom.
