Penny's is a small family run bungalow resort, right by the sea on the west coast of Ko Chang. We are a family- and couple-oriented resort, so if you are seeking peaceful holidays by the sea in beautiful garden surroundings in Thailand, then Penny's Bungalow Resort on Koh Chang in Trat province in the Gulf of Thailand, is the right place for you.

We are in the peaceful Hat Kai Mook Bay, halfway between the two main Koh Chang beaches, White Sands beach to the north and Klong Prao beach to the south.

Both are just a few minutes' drive away, so very easy by publc taxi, rented motorbike or pedal bike. The most common way to travel around on Ko Chang is by rented motorbike or public taxis (Songthaews). Songthaews operate around the clock.

Ko Chang's Hat Kai Mook Bay is probably one of the last places on the island with a really peaceful and quiet atmosphere, and with our own tropical garden and swimming pool with the sea on one side and beautiful unspoiled mountain views on the other, we at Penny's are proud to represent ourselves as the best value for money "Family Resort in a tropical nature paradise". Penny's swimming pool is at the centre of the resort; it directly overlooks the sea, and right behind the swimming pool and up five steps is Penny's restaurant, so the view from the restaurant is classic, right over the pool to the ocean, all in the framework of a beautiful tropical garden. Traffic noise is only a distant memory, the main road from Koh Chang being more than 250 meters away, but still within easy walking distance.

Penny's Resort is ideally situated; far enough for relaxing out of earshot from the overcrowded overpopulated noisy beach areas, but only a short hop for you to go and enjoy their nightlife, shopping malls and other facilities when you want.

Penny's restaurant is open from 7am to 9pm and has both an original Thai cuisine and popular western dishes. Penny's restaurant is rapidly gaining fame not only for resort residents, but as an eating-out venue in its own right for visitors.

New developments on Koh Chang are taking place very fast, especially around the sandy beach areas like White Sand (Hat Sai Kow) and Klong Prao, and are now spreading further south into the former more guest house and backpacker styled "Lonely beach" area (12kms further south from Penny's Resort) and to the now very popular but overcrowded "Bangbao" fishing village (17km south). All these beaches and areas of interest are easy to reach from Penny's.
